In another life (read: before global health upheaval tore my nervous system apart like cotton candy) I used to do this all the time. I’d write shopping lists for single women in defiance of all the other shopping lists that never, ever take us specifically into account. You’ll notice that most creators in the fashion, beauty, travel, or parenthood space receive…well I’ll just say it: tons of free shit. Brands hope for positive reviews and popularity, we all know the dance at this point. However, no one sends me a goddamned thing. Single women just hit different. So when I suggest things, you can be comforted by the fact that I both actually enjoy them, and create content out of pure vengeance. We deserve nice things too, and we’re allowed to give a shit about a lot more than vibrators and wine. Though, judging by this internet, you’d never know it.
